PHTLS courses improve the quality of trauma care and decrease mortality. The program is based on a philosophy stressing the treatment of the multi-system trauma patient as a unique entity with specific needs. PHTLS promotes critical thinking as the foundation for providing quality care.

Sanilac Medical Services has (with the unanamus agreement from the area EMS directors) chosen to offer the Hybrid full course for PHTLS Course. Each student will purchase the code for the online content this material and a passing final exam will be done prior to the December 11th practical exam date. Practical testing will begin at 10 oclock am. Each student must present the completetion certificate for online content with a score visibe.
